• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through virtual consultations, documenting clinical findings and treatment goals meticulously at every stage.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address the needs of a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Facilitate engaging and therapeutic individual and group therapy sessions that promote emotional healing and resilience.
• Monitor and document client progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to align with therapeutic goals.
• Collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care physicians, to coordinate holistic care for clients.
• Actively participate in case reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and enhance service delivery.
• Provide necessary follow-ups with health professionals for clients requiring higher levels of care, ensuring their smooth transition through various treatment stages.
• Support family members and caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges, thereby fostering a supportive ecosystem for the client.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Forest View Psychotherapy Center, you will work with a varied client base, ranging from adolescents facing challenges such as anxiety and depression to adults dealing with more complex mental health disorders. This diversity in patient demographics allows for a rich experience and continuous learning, as you will implement therapeutic approaches suited to each unique situation while staying aware of cultural competencies and social factors influencing mental health.

• Must possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW is required.
• Successfully pass score obtained on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Previous experience in a mental health counseling role is essential, particularly in an outpatient or community setting.

• Proficient in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, ensuring compliance with documentation and reporting standards.
• Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and guidelines.
• An understanding of co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, as well as experience with addiction disorders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating an ability to connect with clients and professionals alike.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine, empathetic nature that allows you to build therapeutic alliances.

The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, reflective of experience and qualifications.
