What you can expect to be doing:

We are seeking an Architectural Project Technician with 46 years of professional experience in construction documentation to support our Architecture group. This position aligns with the AIA Architectural staff level I (non-licensed) and focuses on producing coordinated construction documents under the direction of a Project Architect or Project Manager.

  • Prepare accurate and coordinated construction documents using Revit
  • Produce plans, sections, details, schedules, and other drawing components
  • Apply established standards, codes, and building systems to drawing production
  • Coordinate architectural drawings with engineering disciplines and consultants
  • Incorporate QA/QC comments and project team markups
  • Support construction administration including drawing revisions and clarifications
  • Proficient at Bluebeam for plan review and collaboration
  • Ability to independently measure and create existing condition drawings

What you will need to succeed:

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 46 years of technical experience in an architectural or A/E firm
  • Experience working under a Project Architect or Project Manager on multi-discipline teams
  • Proficiency in Revit required
  • Demonstrated competency in construction documentation and detailing
  • Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and typical construction methods
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

  • AutoCAD experience preferred
  • Experience with both new construction and renovation projects
  • Experience with wood frame, masonry veneer, and steel construction types
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, rendering suites such as Lumion, Twinmotion, Enscape, or V-Ray

Location: Bangor, ME - Reliably commute or relocation before starting work. This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement, with a combination of in-office and remote work considered based on business and operational needs.

The estimated range for this role is: $24.23 to $28.43. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, location, market conditions, education/training, certifications, credentials, skills, and demonstrated proficiency for the role. Compensation is reviewed at least annually each year. Compensation is also adjusted throughout the year to recognize position advancement, responsibilities and licensure and/or certification.
