• Conduct engaging and empathetic remote counseling sessions for individuals, couples, and families utilizing secure, HIPAA-compliant video conferencing tools.
• Carry out comprehensive assessments to accurately identify clients' mental health needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and establish measurable, achievable therapeutic goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to meet clients' unique emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges.
• Provide immediate support during crisis situations and implement appropriate intervention strategies to prioritize client safety and mental health.
• Maintain thorough and confidential records, including client progress notes and treatment plans, in strict accordance with legal guidelines and ethical standards.
• Educate clients on various mental health issues, teaching coping strategies and resources that empower them to manage their mental health proactively.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and coordinate with referral sources and community resources to ensure clients receive holistic care.

• Must hold a current license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.
