CLASS offers business consulting services in Marketing, Strategy, Human Resources/ Organization, Finance and IT.
Role Overview
CLASS is seeking motivated and committed professionals to join our Practice Development team as Senior Consultants - Nonprofit Strategy & Delivery. This volunteer role focuses on project execution, methodology development, proposal creation, and delivery excellence across high-impact nonprofit consulting engagements.
Position Type: Volunteering (All volunteering positions at The Class Consulting Group are unpaid). This is a Remote position.
Responsibilities:
  • Support consulting projects end-to-end from proposal to final delivery.
  • Scope client problems and convert them into structured workplans.
  • Design qualitative and quantitative methodologies for client engagements.
  • Conduct secondary research and synthesize insights.
  • Draft proposals, reports, and client presentations.
  • Ensure quality control andtimelydelivery of outputs.
  • Create reusable templates, frameworks, and playbooks for the wider team.
  • Provide ad-hoc support for marketing deliverables during non-project periods.

Requirements:
  • Background in consulting, research, strategy, public policy, or nonprofit advisory.
  • Strong problem-structuring and writing skills.
  • Strong Excel,Word,PowerPoint, and writing skills.
  • Experience managing multiple deliverables.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
  • High standardsfor quality and client impact.

Education Qualification & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or a related field
  • Master's degree (MBA, MPA, MPH, or equivalent) preferred but not mandatory
  • 5+ years of professional experience in consulting, strategy, nonprofit management, research, public policy, or related roles
  • Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to complex projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Prior experience in strategy, management consulting, or nonprofit advisory is a strong plus

Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong skills in Research, Communications, Writing, and Presentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong business acumen for analysis, modeling and tracking of quantitative andqualitative business data and metrics; the ability to extrapolate meaning from such analyses, modeling and tracking.
  • Team players and commitment to deliver results.
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to projects.

Commitment:
  • Minimum 1+ year of commitment for the unpaid / pro-bono position.
  • Participation in weekly team meetings.
