We are seeking a committed and passionate Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our team at WPS Behavioral and Counseling Center. This is a full-time role, presented with an attractive annual salary range of USD 85,000 โ€“ 100,000. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at our outpatient treatment center, you will undertake several critical responsibilities, including:

  • Facilitation of Group Therapy: Lead and encourage engaging group sessions, creating a space for young adults to share experiences, connect emotionally, and learn valuable tools through peer support.
  • Individual Counseling: Deliver personalized therapy sessions that assist clients in exploring their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. You'll collaboratively develop coping strategies and actionable plans that align with their goals.
  • Treatment Planning: Partner with clients and their families to create individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans, ensuring they are tailored to their unique needs and aspirations.
  • Progress Monitoring: Continuously assess and evaluate clientsโ€™ progress, using various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to ensure they are on track to meet their treatment goals.
  • Collaboration with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with fellow therapists, psychiatrists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for all clients, sharing insights and strategies for treatment when necessary.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work as an LCPC will primarily focus on young adults aged 18 to 30, who are navigating mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. At WPS Behavioral and Counseling Center, we offer innovative PHP programming that employs both evidence-based and holistic treatment methods, reinforcing our commitment to providing accessible and effective care for our clients.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Current and valid LCPC licensure to practice in the state of Nevada.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to create rapport with clients and facilitate group dynamics.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young adults in their mental health journeys.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with adolescents and young adults in a clinical setting.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health treatment.
