This position is fully remote, allowing you to engage with clients effectively through our telehealth platform. Our flexible work setting prioritizes work-life balance while meeting the needs of our patients. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient appointments. You will have access to state-of-the-art electronic health record systems and therapy tools designed to facilitate effective therapy delivery in a remote setting.

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate trauma recovery.
• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, empowering patients to process their trauma and learn effective coping strategies.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure integrated care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, enabling patients to access the care they need in critical situations.
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available support resources to enhance their understanding and recovery journey.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation consistent with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives focused on trauma-informed care.
• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to ensure the highest standards of care.

The therapist will work predominantly with individuals grappling with various forms of trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and significant life-threatening experiences. Our approach emphasizes a deep understanding of trauma-related disorders and a commitment to fostering resilience. This role is pivotal in transforming the lives of our patients by providing compassionate and effective therapeutic interventions tailored to their specific needs.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders, treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and virtual therapy tools.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience delivering trauma-focused therapies is preferred.
• Experience working within a team-based environment, demonstrating collaborative skills to enhance patient care.
• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations.
