This role can have a Hybrid or Remote work schedule. Candidates who live near one of our office locations will have the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).Candidates who do not live near an office will have aremote work schedule, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise.

Join our Employee Benefits (EB) data integration team where we partner directly with external customers and HR/benefits technology platforms to deliver reliable eligibility and enrollment connections into The Hartford's ecosystem. This is a highly collaborative role working across internal partners (Operations, Implementation, Sales, Claims, Client Relationship Managers, Product, Technology) while frequently engaging with external customers and vendor partners. Customer centricity is core to the role, ensuring solutions improve experience and reduce operational friction.

Overview

Lead consultative conversations with customers and vendor/HR tech partners to determine best data exchange solutions (API vs file feeds).

Participate in client-facing calls and co-lead implementation discussions with Implementation Managers.

Configure internal systems to support inbound and outbound integrations.

Coordinate testing with customers and internal teams; deliver clear, actionable feedback.

Validate file data, identify defects, and drive resolution.

Troubleshoot data/file issues and identify root causes.

Create and maintain clear technical and process documentation.

Ensure appropriate handling of sensitive customer data.

High-quality integrations with minimal rework.

Strong collaboration across internal and external teams.

Clear communication, documentation, and follow-through.

Working Style

This role is highly collaborative, involving frequent interaction with internal teams and external clients to deliver successful integration outcomes aligned with customer needs.

Qualifications

Experience with data exchange (EDI/file feeds and/or APIs).

Strong data analysis skills using SQL and Excel.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Strong communication and consultative skills.

Ability to document technical solutions effectively.

Attention to data security and accuracy.

Preferred Experience

Experience with Employee Benefits products (Leave, Life, Disability).

Familiarity with HRIS or enrollment platforms.

Experience working in implementation or integration environments.

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$82,400 - $123,600
