As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, your day-to-day activities will encompass a variety of key responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify the mental health needs of students.
• Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and goals.
• Providing psychotherapy using evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Managing a full caseload, maintaining accurate and timely clinical records according to HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and enhance support systems for clients.
• Engaging in case consultations and peer review meetings to continuously improve care standards.
• Educating families on mental health issues, therapy options, and available community resources.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest mental health research and incorporating insights to enhance therapeutic practices.

Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient population, specifically students from varied socio-economic backgrounds. This role demands a sensitivity to their unique challenges and an understanding of the educational context in which they operate. By providing targeted psychotherapy services, you will empower students to overcome mental health barriers that impede their academic success and personal growth.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid and unrestricted LCSW license in the state of California.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience, particularly in settings focused on therapy for adolescents or children.
• Proficiency in solution-focused therapy techniques.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with a commitment to ethical practice.
• A collaborative spirit and ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.

While a minimum of three years of experience is required, preference will be given to candidates with experience in school settings or community mental health environments. Familiarity with the unique challenges faced by children and adolescents, as well as experience with crisis intervention, will be considered valuable assets.
