Job description

Senior Copywriter
About the Role:
Beam is one of the fastest-growing wellness brands in the U.S., with products that support better sleep, gut health, hormonal health, kids nutrition, focus, recovery, and everyday wellness. As we continue to expand across retail, ecommerce, and new product categories, we're looking for a Senior Copywriter to join our quickly scaling team.
Beam is looking for a Senior Copywriter to own and evolve our brand messaging across every customer touchpoint. From paid ads and product launches to lifecycle marketing and brand campaigns, you'll create compelling copy that drives performance, builds brand affinity, and ensures consistency across channels. This role is ideal for someone who can seamlessly balance performance marketing with brand storytelling while helping scale creative output and improve copy workflows.
What You'll Do:
  • Own copy development across paid media, retention marketing, brand campaigns, retail, Amazon, product launches, website content, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Write compelling paid social hooks, headlines, scripts, email and SMS campaigns, landing pages, PDPs, retail messaging, campaign copy, and product storytelling.
  • Help define, evolve, and maintain Beam's brand voice, messaging frameworks, copy guidelines, and channel-specific best practices.
  • Partner closely with Growth, Retention, Creative, Brand, Product, Retail, and Marketplace teams to translate business objectives into clear, engaging, and high-performing messaging.
  • Develop multiple creative copy variations to support ongoing testing and optimization across channels.
  • Analyze creative performance alongside cross-functional partners, helping turn insights into stronger messaging systems and scalable creative learnings.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality across all customer-facing communications while balancing creativity with business objectives and regulatory considerations.
  • Champion thoughtful use of AI tools to improve creative workflows, accelerate ideation, and increase operational efficiency without sacrificing quality or brand voice.
Who You Are:
  • 6+ years of professional copywriting experience, ideally within CPG, wellness, beauty, supplements, food & beverage, or other high-growth DTC brands.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating both performance marketing copy and brand-building work.
  • Proven experience writing paid advertising, campaign messaging, video scripts, email and SMS, website copy, PDPs, product storytelling, and broader brand content.
  • Deep understanding of messaging that drives engagement and conversion across paid social, lifecycle marketing, ecommerce, Amazon, and retail channels.
  • Experience developing or contributing to brand voice guidelines, messaging frameworks, or brand refresh initiatives.
  • Excellent creative judgment with the ability to balance personality, clarity, compliance, and business performance.
  • Highly collaborative, organized, and comfortable owning projects independently while partnering across multiple teams.
  • Curiosity around AI and emerging creative tools, with a willingness to thoughtfully incorporate them into day-to-day workflows.
