Job description

PLEASE NOTE: This is a field-based position. Applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Jessup, Maryland, as they will travel directly to customer locations throughout the territory. This is not a remote position.

Compensation: Starting at $24/hr, based on experience 

We’re looking for experienced forklift mechanics/field service technicians to join our team. You will start your day from home and go directly to customer sites - no daily shop reporting! We offer competitive pay, independence, and a company-provided truck.

What You’ll Do:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts (electric, gas, LP)
  • Service industrial batteries and chargers
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Travel to customer sites throughout the day
  • Communicate directly with customers on repairs and recommendations
  • All other responsibilities/duties as assigned

What You Need:

  • Experience as a forklift mechanic, diesel mechanic, or equipment technician
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently in the field
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Your own tools
  • Ability to lift up to 100lbs and work in various positions
