Job description

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid for local candidates; Remote available)

Pay Rate: $18.20 / hour

Schedule: Full-time, flexible start between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST

Position Overview

The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring clinician compliance across NCQA, URAC, Medicare, Medicaid, and client delegation agreements, as well as state and federal regulatory standards. This role focuses on high-volume processing, continuous monitoring of clinician credentials, and facilitating licensure applications to maintain an active, qualified network.

Reporting to the Supervisor of the Credentialing Hub, you will collaborate closely with cross-departmental teams including Recruiting, Production, and Education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verification & Maintenance: Verify state licenses, exclusion lists, DEA registrations, board certifications, and Medicare/Medicaid enrollment statuses on an ongoing basis.

  • Enrollment & Licensure: Enroll clinicians in Medicare and Medicaid programs according to state and federal guidelines; prepare and submit state licensure applications on behalf of clinicians.

  • Data Management: Input, update, and maintain accurate provider data in credentialing databases, adhering to standardized data entry protocols.

  • File Compliance: Monitor provider files for completeness, reviewing documentation to ensure alignment with quality standards, accreditation criteria, and internal policies.

  • Verification Tracking: Electronically issue, track, and follow up on verification requests to support high-volume processing within strict timelines.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear, prompt communication with providers, internal teams, external clients, and Signify Health staff regarding day-to-day credentialing inquiries.

  • Industry Compliance: Stay informed on evolving healthcare regulations, accreditation changes, and legislative updates; assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications & RequirementsEssential Qualifications
  • Experience: 1–3 years of administrative experience, preferably within healthcare credentialing, provider enrollment, or licensure processing.

  • Primary Skill Set:

    • Demonstrated ability to independently verify professional licensure and education history.

    • Practical experience completing complex enrollment and state licensure applications.

    • Meticulous attention to detail and strong administrative organization.

  • Schedule Alignment: Must be able to work set hours within the Central Time Zone (CST).

Preferred Qualifications
  • NAMSS Certification as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS).

  • Direct experience with CAQH, MD-Staff, and Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Drive).

  • Specific experience navigating state medical board licensure processes.

Work Location & Compensation
  • Pay Rate: $18.20 / hour

  • Work Arrangement: Remote-friendly. Candidates residing within 40–50 miles of the Dallas, TX office (4055 Valley View Lane) will work on a hybrid schedule (on-site every other Tuesday and for monthly town halls).

  • Work Hours: Flexible 8-hour shift options between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM CST (choice of 30-minute or 1-hour lunch break).

  • Compliance Requirement: Role involves access to Protected Health Information (PHI). A standard pre-employment drug screening is required.


Pay Details: $18.20 per hour
