This position is a fully remote role, providing flexibility while ensuring that our counselors can maintain a strong connection with their clients through advanced telehealth platforms. You will be based out of Ontario, California, but will serve a diverse clientele across various geographical regions. Our outpatient office is a collaborative hub designed to support therapists with technology and resources that facilitate effective patient care.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the mental health status of clients, using established diagnostic criteria and therapeutic models.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on client needs, ensuring adherence to evidence-based treatment methods.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, both individually and in group settings, employing culturally responsive and inclusive strategies.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as necessary, incorporating feedback from the clients and their support systems.
• Refer clients to additional resources, including psychiatrists or specialized services, to ensure holistic care.
• Document session notes and client interactions accurately using our electronic health record (EHR) system, adhering to confidentiality protocols and ethical guidelines.
• Engage in regular professional development activities to stay updated on the latest trends in mental health treatment.

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a wide range of clients experiencing various mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, reflecting the multicultural fabric of Ontario and beyond. This diversity requires a counselor adept at cultural competence and able to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet individual client needs effectively.

• A valid and current mental health license (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) in the state of California.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• At least two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment models, and therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and other therapeutic technology.
• A commitment to maintaining professional ethics and confidentiality in all client interactions.

• Experience in telehealth counseling or remote therapy sessions.
• Background in group therapy facilitation and crisis intervention.
• Specialization or advanced training in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy).

The compensation package for this position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, supplemented by an attractive sign-on bonus of up to $1,000.
