Ferguson is seeking a strategic and technically knowledgeable Regional HDPE Coordinator to serve as the central resource for project quoting and estimating across our HDPE business. In this high-impact role, you will partner closely with sales teams, operations leaders, vendors, and customers to deliver accurate, comprehensive, and competitive project solutions that drive growth and customer success.
As the HDPE quoting expert for your region, you'll play a critical role in ensuring every proposal captures the complete project scope, from pipe and fittings to fusion equipment, labor considerations, training, and service support. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex challenges, collaborating across teams, and helping shape a best-in-class quoting process within a growing business.
We are hiring a Regional HDPE Coordinator for our Eastern Region. This remote role is ideally suited for candidates who reside within the Eastern Region, allowing them to build strong partnerships and effectively support the teams and customers they serve.
What You'll Do:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HDPE quote requests across your assigned region.
  • Develop accurate and timely project quotes that incorporate all required materials, equipment, services, and support.
  • Review project requirements to ensure the full scope is captured, including pipe, fittings, fusion equipment, labor assumptions, training, and service needs.
  • Identify appropriate fusion tooling requirements based on pipe size, joint configuration, jobsite conditions, and contractor capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the National Rental Center (NRC) to incorporate tooling rentals, training, service support, and associated costs into complete project solutions.
  • Partner with the General Manager, HDPE Sales, to align pricing strategy, customer positioning, and market competitiveness.
  • Maintain and improve quotation standards, templates, and processes to drive consistency, efficiency, and accuracy across the organization.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to obtain project-specific pricing, lead times, and product solutions.
  • Proactively identify project risks, scope gaps, missing information, and competitive challenges, escalating when appropriate.
  • Support field sales teams with technical guidance, value-engineered alternatives, and project scope recommendations.
  • Monitor key performance metrics including quote volume, turnaround time, conversion rates, and process effectiveness.
  • Ensure a seamless transition from quote to order by providing clear bills of material, tooling requirements, and service expectations.
  • Leverage Ferguson's nationwide distribution and logistics network to optimize freight costs and maximize project profitability.
  • Champion a scalable, centralized quoting model that drives consistency and operational excellence across the business.

What You'll Bring:
  • 2+ years of estimating, quoting, or project pricing experience within construction, infrastructure, utility, waterworks, industrial, or related industries.
  • Experience working with estimating software such as PlanSwift, QuoteSoft, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and project drawings preferred.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated mindset with a strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and the confidence to make informed recommendations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • HDPE piping, fusion equipment, waterworks, utility, or infrastructure project experience is highly preferred.

Pay Range:
Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate's qualifications and prior experience.
$6,900.30 - $15,033.70
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
