What are Remote Driving Instructor Assistants?

Remote Driving Instructor Assistants are professionals who support driving instructors and learners by providing driving lessons, guidance, and feedback remotely, often using video conferencing tools or specialized driving simulation software. They may help students understand road rules, prepare for driving tests, and offer real-time advice during virtual or monitored in-car sessions. This role allows for flexible instruction and can be especially helpful for learners who cannot attend in-person lessons. Remote Driving Instructor Assistants often need strong communication skills and a thorough knowledge of driving regulations.

What's the difference between PDI and ADI?

A Potential Driving Instructor (PDI) is someone training to become an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI), who is fully qualified to teach learners independently. The PDI undergoes a period of supervised training and assessment before qualifying as an ADI, who can then run their own driving school or instruct independently. Both roles require passing specific exams and meeting licensing requirements.
