Job description

Work Flexibility: Remote

Stryker is seeking to hire a Design Engineer to support Stryker Craniomaxillofacial (CMF) Division. This role has a direct impact on healthcare by designing customized patient implants.

This is a remote role supporting the West Coast. Preference will be given to candidates located in the Pacific Time Zone.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As a Design Engineer,you will be working on our Patient Specific Solutions team. This team provides surgeons with the options they need to successfully treat very complex cases. You will work to design and develop patient specific implants, where a patient may not have other options.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Using CAD software to design these custom patient implants.

  • Working collaboratively and communicating effectively with cross-functional teams including regulatory, quality, engineer standards, manufacturing, and sterility.

  • Understanding the anatomy of the body through courses to help you learn.

WHAT YOU NEED:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline. Biomedical or Mechanical preferred.

  • 0-2 years of product design experience.

  • Experience in CAD.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of design controls and risk management.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
