Licensed Land Surveyor (PLS) - West Palm Beach, FL
NexGen Land Solutions | Full-Time | Remote-Friendly | M-F 8AM-5PM
NexGen Land Solutions is hiring a Florida-licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to support our high-volume West Palm Beach operations. This is a production-focused role - the majority of work is mortgage and boundary surveys for title agents and real estate attorneys in one of Florida's busiest real estate corridors. If you're a PLS who can move efficiently, maintain quality, and own your workload with minimal hand-holding, this role is built for you.
What You'll Do
  • Stamp and seal mortgage, boundary, and topographic surveys for closing-driven clients (title companies, real estate attorneys)
  • QA and review survey deliverables produced by drafters before client delivery
  • Communicate with clients on turnaround timelines, scope questions, and deliverable issues
  • Oversee project flow from field data receipt through final sealed document
  • Flag compliance issues and ensure all work meets Florida Chapter 472 requirements
  • Coordinate with field crews and drafters to resolve data gaps or discrepancies efficiently
Who You Are
  • Active Florida PLS license - required, no exceptions
  • Experienced with mortgage survey volume - you know the FAR/BAR standards and title agent expectations
  • Efficient and accurate under production pressure without cutting corners on compliance
  • Professional communicator - comfortable handling client calls and email threads directly
  • Florida resident (or willing to relocate) - remote-friendly but Florida-based required
