What this position entails
The Sales Development Representative is a vital part of IntelliScript's innovative and collaborative Sales and Marketing team. Working with the Sales Manager and the Account Executives, the Sales Development Representative will develop client and prospect relationships that turn into sales opportunities. This role is instrumental in building our sales pipeline, by uncovering potential leads and developing qualified opportunities. This will include initiating contact with people at all levels within an organization, including C-suite executives. The right person for our team has a natural drive to learn as much as they can and exceed expectations.
What you will be doing
  • Develop account profiles and business opportunities through outbound activity
  • Build client relationships through research, regular calls and emails, setting sales appointments / meetings, and attending conferences
  • Qualify leads, map out all possible contacts in a market or company
  • Conduct outbound opportunity development as part of marketing campaigns
  • Add and maintain information in Salesforce
  • Achieve (and exceed) monthly quotas of qualified opportunities
  • Become an expert on the entire Milliman IntelliScript suite of product solutions, as well as industry trends, and competitive dynamics
  • Engage with other Milliman IntelliScript business units such as marketing, IT, operations and legal

This job posting is expected to close on August 30, 2026. This position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI and Chicago, IL as needed and travel nationwide for meetings, conferences, and team events.
Compensation
The overall salary range for this role is $54,900 - $119,830. For candidates residing in:
  • Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia:
    • $63,135 - $97,865 if overall experience is less than 2 years; and
    • $74,980 - $119,830 for experience greater than 2 years.

  • All other states:
    • $54,900 - $85,100 if overall experience is less than 2 years; and
    • $65,200 - $104,200 for experience greater than 2 years.

A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.
