This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience as you engage with patients through telehealth services. • Conduct thorough and comprehensive clinical assessments to determine patients' mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including solution-focused therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), to address mental health challenges.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation, ensuring timely updates to patient records in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals, including psychiatrists and nurses, to deliver integrated care for our patients.
• Provide educational resources and ongoing support to patients and their families to promote understanding and engagement in treatment.
• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in the field of mental health and detoxification methodologies to enhance treatment practices.

In this role, you will engage with a diverse client base, including individuals undergoing detoxification from various substances. Your work will be pivotal in addressing the intersection of mental health disorders and substance abuse, helping patients process their experiences, and fostering resilience as they navigate their recovery journey.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Vermont is necessary.
• Proficient knowledge of solution-based psychotherapy interventions and experience working with substance use issues is preferred.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, with an empathetic approach to patient care.

• Previous experience in a detox or addiction treatment setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and applications is an advantage, enabling effective remote patient interaction.
• Understanding of the latest evidence-based practices in mental health treatment related to substance use disorders.
