The Software Engineer 2 codes software applications based on business requirements. The Software Engineer 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer with expertise in React Native, GraphQL, TypeScript and JavaScript . The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong proficiency in building modern mobile applications using React Native, GraphQL, mobile component architecture, responsive styling, and React/Next.js frameworks. This role also requires familiarity with mobile foundation, API integration, cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and security/compliance standards.

The selected candidate must reside within a 50-mile radius of the Louisville, KY; Dallas, TX; or Washington, DC metropolitan areas, or be willing to relocate to one of these locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, TypeScript and JavaScript for both Android and iOS.
  • Built highly reusable UI components and shared business modules, reducing feature development effort
  • Integrate with REST and SOAP APIs for third-party services.
  • Integrate with Adobe Analytics and Dynatrace for application monitoring, telemetry and performance optimization
  • Deploy, monitor, and scale solutions on Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Participate in DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipeline configuration and version control.
  • Apply security and compliance standards, including PCI, HIPAA, and CMS requirements.

Use your skills to make an impact

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of proficiency in React Native, Java Script, Type Script, GraphQL including query and mutation development and Apollo/Relay client handling.
  • 1-2 years of experience with API integration (REST/SOAP).
  • 1 -2 years of experience with cloud platforms (Azure/GCP) for hosting, monitoring, and scaling.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
  • Moderate familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD pipelines and version control tools.
  • Moderate understanding of security and compliance standards (PCI, HIPAA, CMS).

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.
