What is a Remote Dog Walking job?

A Remote Dog Walking job typically involves monitoring and engaging with a dog through technology, such as GPS trackers, cameras, or automated devices, rather than physically walking the dog. Some roles may include providing virtual guidance to pet owners, scheduling walks with local walkers, or using remote-controlled treadmills for exercise. It’s a great option for pet professionals who want to assist dog owners from a distance while ensuring their pets stay active and healthy.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Remote Dog Walking position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Dog Walker, you need strong communication skills, reliability, and a thorough understanding of canine behavior and safety. Familiarity with scheduling apps, GPS tracking systems, and pet care management platforms is often beneficial for coordinating remote services. Standout candidates demonstrate responsiveness, problem-solving, and a genuine passion for animal welfare. These attributes ensure pets are well-cared for and clients feel confident in the walker’s remote support and guidance.

Is 100 a day good for dog sitting?

For a remote dog walking or sitting job, earning $100 a day can be considered good depending on factors like location, number of clients, and the hours worked. Rates for dog sitting typically range from $15 to $30 per walk or visit, so $100 may reflect multiple walks or visits in a day. Experience, certifications, and the number of dogs cared for can also influence earning potential.

How much should you charge for a 20 minute dog walk?

For a remote dog walking job, typical rates for a 20-minute walk range from $10 to $20, depending on location, experience, and whether additional services are included. Many dog walkers charge by the walk or hourly, and setting competitive rates can help attract clients while ensuring fair compensation for your time and effort.

Can I get paid for walking dogs?

Yes, dog walking is a paid job where individuals earn money by taking dogs for walks, often on a flexible schedule. Payment rates vary based on location, experience, and the number of dogs walked, and some dog walkers work independently while others are employed by pet care companies.

How does remote dog walking work, and what are my main responsibilities in this type of role?

Remote dog walking typically involves virtually guiding pet owners as they walk their dogs, offering real-time support via video call or messaging apps, and providing advice on handling, exercise routines, and enrichment activities. Your main responsibilities include checking in with pet owners, offering behavioral tips, monitoring the pet's well-being remotely, and ensuring both owner and dog have a positive, safe walking experience. Building rapport through effective communication and timely feedback is crucial in this role. You'll frequently use mobile technology and dog care platforms to connect with clients, track sessions, and share walk summaries or recommendations. This unique work environment allows you to support pet health and owner confidence from virtually anywhere.

Job description

Overview
Corporate Tools is looking for a Direct Mail Specialist to oversee our direct mail campaigns. If you've got a passion for sending creative, quirky mailers that make people think, "Wow, this is cool, neat, or whatever other expression you use when you come across something you really like," we want you on our team! This is a remote position, but if you're near one of our local offices, you're welcome to come hangout with us in-office as well. Our main offices are in Post Falls, ID, and Spokane, WA; we also have satellite offices in Austin, TX, and Salt Lake City, UT. You'll be working 40 hours a week and, of course, enjoy great company benefits.
As the marketing mastermind behind our direct mail campaigns, you'll work alongside our dynamic sales and marketing teams to create messages that catch eyes, spark curiosity, and - most importantly - get results. Your goal? To get people to fall in love with our brand, generate leads, and fuel some serious growth. You'll take the reins on developing, launching, and fine-tuning campaigns that hit home with both current customers and potential ones. And let's be honest, who doesn't love the joy of receiving something exciting in the mail?

  • Analyze the target audience to understand their needs, pain points, and desires, tailoring your messaging to resonate with them.

  • Craft attention-grabbing headlines and clear, concise calls-to-action that encourage immediate engagement.
  • You'll collaborate with engineering and data teams to create audience files, refine targeting lists, and develop advanced models for audience selection, including trigger- based campaigns to drive response.
