Business Operations Specialist
The Opportunity:
An effective program requires a Business Operations Specialist who is passionate about guiding programs and projects through complex lifecycles. It requires someone who is dedicated to identifying challenges, mitigating risks, and supporting a team with vision and focus. That's why we need you, a seasoned Business Operations Specialist, who can ensure our program achieves success by coordinating business process requirements and enhancements, incorporating industry standards, FEDSIM best practices, tech innovation and effecting change management to support efficiencies and cost saving opportunities.
As a member of our team, you'll design, implement, and maintain impactful projects through coordination with our program management office (PMO) and our teammates to provide solutions to customer challenges. Your FEDSIM or DoD clients and Program Manager will trust you to organize and coordinate innovative projects while your team will look to you for direction as they navigate requirements, budget constraints, and staffing challenges. You'll broaden your expertise in project management and execution, issue management, strategic planning, contract and subcontract coordination, and more. This is your chance to impact the DoD sector while sharing your knowledge and expertise of project management tools, techniques and processes.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience working in program or project management roles
  • Experience with data entry and database management, data tracking, analysis, and reporting
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multilocation program environment and adapt quickly to evolving priorities
  • Ability to effectively engage project stakeholders
  • Ability to identify, recommend, and guide process improvement procedures
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with the Intelligence Community (IC), the Department of Defense (DoD), or FEDSIM programs
  • Experience with adding new work to a contract or supporting contract modifications
  • Experience working with GSA or FEDSIM contract processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of contract coordination with subcontractor and teammate staffing
  • Knowledge of Status of Forces (SOFA) agreements and Department of Defense Contractor Online Processing System (DOCPER)
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, and adapt and learn quickly in a complex, dynamic environment
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Secret clearance
  • Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
