Sr. Air/Ocean Specialist: In this role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating all documentation and advances for clearance, ultimately ensuring the timely delivery of freight after clearance. You’ll also monitor and control all entry summary documentation to ensure shipments are prepared to enter in accordance with the US Federal Code of Regulations. You’ll retrieve, check and transmit information, enter it in, and ensure all details are in order as you manage data and clearance on shipments. Practically speaking, you will:  * Take responsibility for all imports of Air & Ocean shipments * Liaise with forwarders and the freight department daily to ensure all goods being imported have the necessary documentation completed in advance * Coordinate documentation for clearance/entry into the United States, and complete entry and entry summary documentation  * Ensure the POD is supplied * Expedite and trace shipments as needed * Determine profit levels and billing * Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of department processes Whether you have 2 or 5 years of work experience, your strong knowledge in Air & Ocean importing and entry of goods into the USA will set you up for success in this role. You’ll also need excellent communication skills as you liaise with multiple departments, strong leadership skills, the ability to self-motivate, and the ability to be decisive and confident in your decisions to succeed in this role.
