As a licensed mental health therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW), you will play an essential role in guiding individuals through their trauma recovery journeys. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure every patient receives integrated, high-quality care.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to thoroughly explore patients' histories and determine appropriate and effective treatment modalities.
• Designing and implementing customized treatment plans that address trauma recovery, promote individual strengths, and facilitate the development of coping strategies.
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patients in processing their trauma.
• Leading both individual and group therapy sessions that create a supportive space for clients to share their experiences, express their emotions, and forge connections with others.
• Collaborating with other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, which includes sharing insights during case consultations and team meetings.
• Delivering prompt crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that clients feel safe and heard.
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources for support.
• Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficiency.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development by participating in team meetings and staying updated with emerging research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Your primary focus will be on individuals suffering from trauma-related conditions, including PTSD and complex trauma. We serve a diverse population, which may include veterans, survivors of domestic violence, and individuals coping with sudden loss or life-altering events. You will be instrumental in helping these individuals navigate their unique challenges by implementing trauma-informed care practices that foster healing and growth.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
• Strong foundation in trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building approaches, with an emphasis on individualized patient care.
• Excellent communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanour that fosters a trusting therapeutic relationship.
• The capacity to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations, offering a reassuring presence to clients.
• Proficiency in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications to streamline documentation processes.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the overall well-being of each client.

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development will also be considered. Experience directly delivering trauma-focused therapies is highly valued, particularly within a remote or community health setting.
