Job Title: Loans & Distributions Specialist - FULLY REMOTE Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Loans & Distributions Specialist to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing a high-volume workload of approximately 800+ annual distributions and loan transactions within a Third-Party Administration (TPA) environment. The ideal candidate has handsโ€on experience with retirement plans and a strong understanding of brokerage accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all transactions.

Key Responsibilities Process and oversee participant distributions, rollovers, and loan requests in a timely and compliant manner Manage a workload of 800+ transactions annually, maintaining accuracy under volume Review documentation for completeness and compliance with plan provisions and regulatory requirements Coordinate with custodians, recordkeepers, and brokerage platforms to facilitate transactions Reconcile and track distribution and loan activity across multiple systems Ensure proper tax reporting and withholding requirements are met Communicate directly with clients, advisors, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and provide status updates Maintain detailed records and audit trails for all processed transactions Assist with process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors Qualifications 2โ€“5+ years of experience in retirement plan administration, TPA operations, or financial services Demonstrated experience handling high-volume distributions and/or loan processing Strong familiarity with brokerage accounts and custodial platforms Knowledge of retirement plan rules (401(k), profit sharing, etc.) and IRS regulations High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Excel and financial systems; experience with recordkeeping platforms preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills What We Offer Competitive base salary up to $70,000 (higher for exceptional candidates) Full medical benefits Unlimited PTO to support work-life balance Growth opportunities within a collaborative and supportive team Exposure to complex and high-impact retirement plan operations #J-18808-Ljbffr
