The Manager, GPTS, Heme/UA Systems for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for managing, resourcing, controlling and maintaining serviceability for Hematology and Urinalysis products. As a member of GPTS management team, you will represent service on multi-functional business teams and manage staff and service deliverables that support Heme/UA core teams and other projects as deemed necessary. This position is also part of a team expected to assume responsibility for cross-functional company initiatives and collaboration.
This position reports to the Director of GPTS, Heme/UA Systems responsible for the Heme/UA systems and applications team members, is part of the Global Service Organization located in Miami, Florida and will be REMOTE*.
While this role is remote, the position is required to be ONSITE at the Beckman Coulter facility in Miami, FL at least two weeks of the month or 50% of the time.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Manage, resource, control and maintain serviceability for Hematology and Urinalysis products
  • Lead People and Leadership Practices to unleash the full potential of their staff
  • Provide guidance, performance management, mutual expectations, coaching and personnel development to staff members
  • Drive Customer Service Measures to reduce service costs/effort
  • Drive service innovation Features in product development and design change
  • Lead, energize, and engage individuals to achieve personal development and business goals through creation and sustainment of standard work
  • Review and evaluate service contracts with TPP's (Third Party Vendors). Making sure all of Beckman Coulter KPI's are accounted for and included in a clear and concise way

The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Bachelor's degree with 9+ years relevant* experience OR Master's/Doctoral degree with 7+ years' relevant experience
  • *Relevant experience is defined as demonstrated hands-on customer service experience in a healthcare, scientific, pharmaceutical, diagnostic or medical device environment.
  • 4+ years experience directly managing or leading people or teams
  • Lead all aspects of continuous improvement practices or DBS (Leadership, Growth, Lean) and holds teams/individuals accountable to sustainment
  • Demonstrated experience reporting status of projects, quality metrics and KPI results to leadership teams

Travel Requirements:
  • This position requires up to 30% flying and/or driving travel, which includes overnight stays. Travel will primarily be domestic but may occasionally be international.
  • Furthermore, while this role is remote, the position is required to be ONSITE at the Beckman Coulter facility in Miami, FL at least two weeks of the month or 50% of the time.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Knowledge of ServiceMax, SFDC, Miro, Smartsheet, PowerBI, OBI, CPDM, EDMS
  • Dealing with Third Party Vendors and distributors
  • Supported product launches and product/system updates on a global level

The annual salary range for this role is $120,000.00-$130,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
