The Role

We are seeking a high-performing, results-driven Bilingual Collections Specialist with native Spanish language skills to join our team. You'll work with financially distressed consumers in both Spanish and English, helping them identify real solutions to regain control of their financial situation.

This isn't traditional collections. Our AI agents handle the majority of consumer interactions. You'll handle escalated cases—the ones that require human expertise, emotional intelligence, or regulatory compliance. Your bilingual ability is critical: you'll serve Spanish-speaking consumers who need human connection and navigate culturally sensitive financial conversations.

You'll handle:

  • Spanish and English-speaking consumers who request to speak with a person
  • Cases requiring human involvement by law or regulation
  • Complex payment arrangements and dispute resolution
  • Sensitive negotiations requiring cultural understanding and empathy

Key Responsibilities

Collections & Relationship Management:

  • Contact consumers in Spanish and English to negotiate payment arrangements
  • Build trust-based relationships with Spanish-speaking consumers experiencing financial hardship

  • Navigate cultural sensitivities around money, family obligations, and financial stress

Dispute & Issue Resolution:

  • Quickly and effectively resolve disputes and complaints in both languages

Compliance & Regulatory Knowledge:

  • Maintain expert knowledge of FDCPA, TCPA, CFPB, and state-specific collection regulations

What It Takes to SucceedMUST HAVE:

Native or fluent Spanish speaker with professional-level English proficiency
