$112,600.00 - $169,000.00
Purpose Statement: Lead and manage an information technology team, delivering end-to-end services which are aligned with and effectively and efficiently support business and IT strategies, goals and operations. The Cybersecurity Operations Manager owns the overall global security operations and incident response (IR) program. This role bridges strategic program ownership with hands-on operational leadership, ensuring that the Security Operations Center (SOC) processes are mature, well-governed, and continuously improving to protect the Plexus organization.
Key Job Accountabilities:
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of security operations workflows, threat modeling, and modern cloud/hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Ensure customer service excellence by driving the information technology service delivery for the system/business areas of accountability. Manage system operations to meet or exceed defined service level agreements.
  • Manage daily activities of information technology resources to deploy secure solutions that meet or exceed customer needs.
  • Understand business objectives, processes, tools and related challenges to define functional area strategies, plans, technology roadmaps and projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve overall information technology and business processes to improve organizational efficiency.
  • Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values. Leader will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.
  • All GT leaders are accountable for upholding the organization's cybersecurity posture by adhering to security policies and procedures, actively participating in training, protecting data and systems, actively identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, and promptly reporting any suspicious activity or potential security incidents.

SOC & Vendor Management
  • Team Leadership: Manage global SOC operations, including day-to-day operations, 24/7 monitoring coverage, escalation workflows, and alert triage.
  • MSSP/MDR Oversight: Serve as the primary operational owner for Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) and security related third-party vendors.
  • Tooling Optimization: Coordinate the onboarding, tuning, and ongoing optimization of security tooling (e.g., SIEM, SOAR, EDR, MDR).

Incident Response
  • Response Orchestration: Own the global incident response program, including policies, playbooks, and post-incident review processes.
  • Readiness Testing: Plan, conduct, and evaluate incident response training and tabletop exercises to ensure cross-functional preparedness.
  • Data Protection: Oversee Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategy to protect sensitive information across all platforms.

Vulnerability Management
  • Vulnerability Triage: Lead vulnerability assessment programs, prioritization, and remediation strategies in collaboration with IT and development teams.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators such as Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
  • AI Governance: Evaluate emerging AI-enabled threat vectors and securely operationalize AI-driven security tools.

Education/Experience Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in either Cybersecurity with 5 or more years of related experience is preferred. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Cybersecurity with 7 years of experience, or a Master's degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience is highly desirable. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
  • Previous supervisory experience required.
