Creative Director, Product & Experiences - Flow Studio (Remote)

Location: Remote US or Canada | Los Angeles area preferred

Organization: Flow Studio Product

We're looking for a Creative Director to help define what AI filmmaking can become with Autodesk Flow Studio. This is a rare opportunity to shape both the creative direction of the product itself and the films, experiments, demos, and cultural moments that show the world what it can do.

This is an AI-first, hands-on creative leadership role embedded within the Flow Studio Product organization. You'll have significant creative freedom, lead a dedicated content team, work closely with Product leadership, and get hands-on with emerging AI filmmaking tools and workflows. The work can range from ambitious cinematic showcases and AI films to fast-moving social experiments designed to earn attention organically.

You'll own the creative bar for everything that lives in or represents the product: the creative look and feel of key product surfaces, cinematic and animation libraries, camera moves, templates and examples, demos, launch storytelling, and other content that helps creators understand what Flow Studio can make possible.

You'll also be the primary product-side creative partner to Flow Studio Marketing, helping shape concepts, promos, launch videos, campaigns, social content, and other external storytelling. Marketing leads audience, campaign, channel, and brand strategy; this role brings the product's creative vision, AI filmmaking expertise, cinematic taste, and product truth into the work.

The ideal person is already deeply engaged in AI filmmaking, has exceptional visual taste and a strong cinematic eye, understands internet culture and social trends, and wants the freedom and resources to make ambitious work that people actually want to watch.

Please submit a portfolio or reel with your application.

What You'll Do
  • Own the creative vision and quality bar for Flow Studio across in-product creative experiences, cinematic content, libraries, demos, showcases, and product storytelling.
  • Lead and develop the Flow Studio content team, setting creative priorities, directing execution, mentoring contributors, and building a team capable of producing exceptional work quickly.
  • Create and direct ambitious AI filmmaking work-from cinematic showcases and product films to reference-quality experiments that push the creative possibilities of Flow Studio.
  • Work hands-on with emerging AI image, video, performance, animation, and filmmaking tools; prototype new ideas, test new models and techniques, and turn experimentation into finished creative work.
  • Shape the creative layer of the product itself, including cinematic and animation libraries, camera moves, examples, templates, onboarding content, reusable scene elements, and other creator-facing experiences.
  • Bring strong filmmaking judgment to camera, composition, lighting, performance, pacing, editing, visual treatment, and storytelling across the work.
  • Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering from early feature development through launch, translating new capabilities into compelling creative experiences and demonstrations.
  • Act as the primary product-side creative partner to Marketing for launches, campaigns, promotional films, social, web, events, and other external storytelling-helping shape concepts, scripts, storyboards, visuals, and execution.
  • Identify opportunities around emerging AI, filmmaking, and social trends, and create culturally relevant, internet-native work that is distinctive, timely, highly shareable, and capable of earning meaningful organic reach.
  • Build lightweight creative standards, reusable assets, and production practices that help the team maintain a very high bar without slowing down experimentation.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional portfolio or reel demonstrating outstanding cinematic taste, storytelling, and creative direction.
  • Deep, hands-on experience with AI filmmaking and modern generative creative tools, with a strong understanding of the rapidly evolving image, video, performance, animation, and AI production landscape.
  • Strong filmmaking instincts across camera, composition, lighting, performance, pacing, editing, and visual storytelling. Cinematography or directing experience is a major plus.
  • Proven ability to originate and create ambitious cinematic work-not only manage or review the work of others.
  • Strong understanding of viral, social, and internet-native content, with sharp awareness of emerging social media trends, formats, platforms, and online culture. Demonstrated experience creating or directing work that has earned meaningful organic reach, audience engagement, or cultural traction.
  • Experience leading creative teams, giving direct and constructive feedback, and maintaining a consistently high creative bar.
  • Comfort working closely with Product and Engineering teams and turning emerging technology and complex product capabilities into compelling creative ideas, demonstrations, and experiences.
What Success Looks Like
  • Flow Studio develops a recognizable creative voice and a consistently exceptional quality bar across the product, its content, and the work shown publicly.
  • New product capabilities become films, demos, experiments, and creative experiences that make people immediately understand-and want to try-what Flow Studio can do.
  • The content team becomes a fast, ambitious creative engine that can produce both high-end cinematic work and culturally relevant, internet-native experiments.
  • Product and Marketing have a trusted creative leader who can move quickly, make strong decisions, protect product truth, and turn emerging technology into work people want to watch and share.
