Job Description

Senior Azure DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer - 5+ Years

Role Purpose

We are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer who can work hands-on across Azure cloud, CI/CD, Terraform, automation, security, monitoring, and production support.

This role suits someone who can take ownership, improve existing processes, reduce manual effort, and help maintain secure, stable, and reliable cloud environments.

Core Technical Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Azure Cloud, CI/CD, IaC, DevSecOps, automation, monitoring, and production support.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services such as App Services, VMs, Storage Accounts, Azure SQL, ACR, Key Vault, APIM, Logic Apps, Function Apps, Front Door, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Azure Networking, DNS, custom domains, SSL/TLS, RBAC, and Managed Identities.
  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps, including YAML pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, service connections, variable groups, approvals, release gates, and multi-stage deployments.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, including modules, remote backend, state management, imports, variables, and environment-based deployments.
  • Experience with Docker, Git, Azure CLI, PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation and deployment activities.
  • Experience integrating SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and container image scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Working knowledge of SonarQube, OWASP Dependency Check, OWASP ZAP, or similar tools.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar.
  • Good understanding of Azure networking, cloud security, cost optimization, high availability, disaster recovery, backup planning, SLA, RTO, RPO, and production readiness.
  • Strong experience in release management, rollback planning, incident handling, RCA support, and multi-environment operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and improve Azure infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform automation, monitoring, DevSecOps, and production support.
  • Build secure, reusable deployment workflows with approvals, quality gates, validations, and rollback plans.
  • Automate repeated manual work using scripts, Terraform modules, pipeline templates, and runbooks.
  • Support architecture preparation, backup planning, DR planning, monitoring design, and production readiness.
  • Identify risks related to security, performance, cost, availability, and reliability before they impact production.
  • Respond to incidents with clear troubleshooting, communication, escalation, rollback awareness, and RCA support.
  • Work closely with development, QA, security, infrastructure, DBA, project management, and business teams.
  • Prepare simple and clear documentation, deployment notes, runbooks, and status updates.
  • Guide junior engineers and help improve DevOps, automation, monitoring, and security practices.

  • Exposure to AWS, GCP, or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Experience with financial domain applications, customer-facing platforms, or business-critical systems.
  • Basic understanding of CRM-based applications, customer data flows, integrations, role-based access, and customer portal workflows.
