Job description

The Peers Disaster Reservist Program was created to build a corps of trained and experienced professionals who can be activated on an as-needed basis to meet staffing needs during emergencies. This program maintains a database of individuals with critical skills that can be rapidly deployed to support disaster response and recovery efforts.


Disaster Reservists may come from a variety of professional backgrounds, including logistics, public health, social services, engineering, case management, or emergency management. Retired professionals, as well as individuals with private-sector or nonprofit experience, are encouraged to apply.
