Key Responsibilities

As an LCSW in our detox center, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of clinical tasks, including:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to understand each client's unique mental health status and needs.
• Developing tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapies, ensuring alignment with best practices and client preferences.
• Implementing a range of therapeutic interventions, with a focus on modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Maintaining precise and secure clinical documentation that complies with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of patient information.
• Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Participating in regular peer reviews and case consultations to enhance treatment efficacy and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Providing psychoeducation and support to clients and their families to empower them with knowledge regarding mental health issues and available resources.
• Staying updated on current research and integrating new insights into your clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with individuals in the detox process, addressing a spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma related to substance abuse. Your role will be pivotal in guiding clients through their recovery journeys and supporting their transition to further therapeutic interventions as needed.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a strong focus on providing psychotherapy services.
• Proficiency in solution-focused therapies and a strong commitment to ethical standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
• Strong analytical skills to assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment strategies.
• The ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment, demonstrating compassion and professionalism.

Preferred Experience

Preferred background includes:

• Experience working with substance use disorders or in a detox setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Training in trauma-informed care approaches.

Compensation and Benefits
