LaSalle Network is hiring for a Benefits Specialist to support our client's benefits operations in Chicago, Illinois, in a Fully Remote environment. This is a Contract opportunity where you'll help provide day-to-day benefits support and respond to employee questions with a high level of professionalism. The Benefits Specialist will help manage multiple inboxes and support onboarding-related communications, playing a key role in keeping benefits processes moving smoothly. If you enjoy fast-paced support work and are comfortable navigating challenging stakeholder interactions, this Benefits Specialist role could be a great fit.
Responsibilities
  • Provide general benefits support to the employee base by acknowledging emails, resolving benefits questions, and directing employees to the appropriate resources as needed
  • Manage and monitor multiple shared inboxes to ensure timely responses and follow-through
  • Send emails for new hires and assist with onboarding-related benefits communications
  • Follow up with new hires who have not enrolled in benefits on time
  • Track COBRA-related items and help answer employee questions regarding coverage

Qualifications
  • Experience supporting employee benefits inquiries in a "general benefits support" capacity
  • Ability to manage multiple inboxes and maintain timely, professional communication
  • Comfortable working with challenging stakeholders and able to bring a tough mindset / thick skin when needed
