Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Behavioral Wellness Oasis Association, your day-to-day duties will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans in line with evidence-based methodologies.
• Utilizing various therapeutic interventions—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)—tailored to each individual’s unique circumstances and preferences.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records that comply with HIPAA and other relevant standards, ensuring confidentiality and high-quality documentation.
• Engaging in multidisciplinary collaboration with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide integrated treatment options for clients.
• Participating in regular case consultations to discuss treatment strategies and enhance the collective quality of care administered by our clinic.
• Educating clients and their families on mental health issues, facilitating understanding of treatment options, and connecting them to community resources as needed.
• Staying informed about the latest developments in mental health practices and integrating new knowledge into your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele is diverse, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds and life experiences. You will engage with patients who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. As part of your role, you will develop meaningful relationships with clients, fostering an environment of trust and open communication to ensure a successful therapeutic process.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Connecticut.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy.
• Strong proficiency in solution-focused therapy techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• A collaborative spirit, enabling effective teamwork within a remote environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a telehealth setting, familiar with online therapy platforms and digital communication tools.
• Background in community health and knowledge of local resources available for client support.
• Familiarity with outcome measurement tools and documenting client progress effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience.
