Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to identify their specific mental health concerns and formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques tailored to foster personal development and emotional resilience.
• Collaborate with clients to set therapeutic goals, consistently monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Offer teletherapy services to ensure accessibility for clients experiencing mobility issues or those preferring remote sessions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes, while adhering to ethical and professional standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, trainings, and conferences to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on the latest therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications

• A valid and active license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Connecticut.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Proficient in establishing trusting therapeutic relationships through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental approach towards clients’ experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring effective management of a diverse caseload while maintaining compliance with administrative duties.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience providing therapy services to clients.
• Experience with teletherapy modalities and virtual counseling platforms is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, DBT, and family systems therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
