• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans, incorporating strategies for crisis intervention and long-term support.
• Document all client interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to evaluate client needs and progress, collaborating with the clinical team to refine treatment approaches.
• Work in cooperation with colleagues to create and implement positive behavior support plans, tailoring interventions to individual client circumstances.
• Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes, maintaining high standards of practice and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a liaison with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as community partners, to coordinate comprehensive service delivery for clients.
• Foster open communication with clients and stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness and align services with community needs.
• Participate in professional development activities such as workshops, conferences, and statewide meetings, enhancing your expertise and contribution to the field.
• Contribute to the agency’s mission by promoting its values and advocating for clients within relevant networks.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support the Clinic Director and the overall functioning of the clinic.

In this role, you will focus on providing therapeutic support to a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing emotional distress, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and those affected by brain injuries. Your clinical interventions will play a pivotal role in empowering clients on their journey toward recovery and independence, promoting holistic well-being in alignment with our organization's mission.

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant mental health field is required, with specialized training in counseling techniques preferred.
• An independent LMHC license is mandatory to practice in the state of Massachusetts.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating effective counseling techniques and knowledge of community resources.
• Prior experience working with diverse populations and understanding cultural competency in mental health treatment.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and current trends in mental health care.
