To thrive in Remote Disability Services, you need a background in social work, counseling, or special education, along with knowledge of disability law and accessibility standards. Familiarity with case management software, telehealth platforms, and adaptive technologies is typically required. Effective collaboration is essential for delivering comprehensive and responsive services, even when team members and clients are not physically together.
