Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring for a notable global technology company recognized for developing innovative consumer products and advancing digital health and human performance research. This is an exciting fully remote, short-term contract opportunity for an experienced Physical Therapist with expertise in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.

Physical Therapist (Remote Contract)

Location: Cupertino, CA (Remote)
Job Type: Approximately 1-Month Contract (Project-Based)
Pay Rate: $91.30/hour
Schedule: Flexible (Approximately 50 Total Hours)

Position Summary

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to conduct virtual musculoskeletal and functional movement assessments as part of a clinical research initiative. This role is ideal for clinicians who possess exceptional orthopedic evaluation skills, strong clinical reasoning, and experience performing evidence-based assessments through telehealth platforms.

Working remotely, you will evaluate participants using a standardized battery of virtual assessments, accurately score functional outcome measures, and document findings while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and clinical quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct virtual physical therapy assessments using a secure telehealth platform.

  • Perform evidence-based musculoskeletal and functional movement evaluations.

  • Assess movement quality, identify compensatory movement patterns, and apply sound clinical reasoning.

  • Accurately score and document standardized functional outcome measures.

  • Maintain complete and accurate assessment documentation.

  • Ensure participant confidentiality and compliance with all study protocols.

  • Communicate professionally with participants while providing a positive virtual experience.

  • Follow established clinical guidelines and standardized evaluation procedures.

  • Collaborate with the clinical project team as needed to ensure consistency and quality across assessments.

Required Qualifications
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.

  • Current, active Physical Therapist license in good standing.

  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in Orthopedic and/or Sports Physical Therapy.

  • Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based musculoskeletal evaluation techniques.

  • Experience conducting virtual patient assessments using telehealth platforms.

  • Strong clinical reasoning and movement analysis skills.

  • Excellent verbal communication and documentation abilities.

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) or Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS).

  • Functional Movement Screen (FMS) Certification.

  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

  • Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

  • Previous experience supporting clinical research or standardized assessment protocols.

Work Environment
  • Fully remote position.

  • Approximately 50 total contract hours.

  • Flexible scheduling based on project needs.

  • Requires a reliable high-speed internet connection.

  • Must maintain a private, professional workspace suitable for conducting virtual assessments.

  • Computer with webcam and audio capability required.

Pay Details: $85.00 to $91.30 per hour
