Overview
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 States, has an immediate opening for an experienced Litigation Paralegal in its Detroit office. The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience working as a litigation-focused paralegal. There may be flexible options for successful candidates, including hybrid, part-time, and full-time opportunities.
All candidates are also expected to have solid knowledge of litigation support and case management, experience in organizing large caseloads, discovery, trial preparation and experience assisting at trial, and familiarity with the Michigan and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Responsibilities include client contact, document review and production, drafting and responding to discovery, indexing, exhibit preparation, investigation, and performing legal research.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
  • ABA approved Paralegal certificate (preferred).
  • 5+ years of trial and litigation paralegal experience.
  • Extensive experience with the management of large multi-case dockets.
  • Management of multiple case deadlines, deposition coordination, drafting pleadings, and discovery.
  • Highly organized and ability to work independently.
  • Client reporting and general support for attorneys and team members.
  • Experience with Summation Pro, Relativity, or comparable litigation support software.
  • Excellent analytical and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with trial presentation software such as Sanction or Trial Director.
  • References.
