This role primarily involves working in an outpatient setting, where therapy sessions can be conducted remotely or in our welcoming office located in Austin. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to identify mental health needs, strengths, and challenges in order to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy, using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including case managers and psychiatrists, to create a coordinated care model that meets the holistic needs of clients.
• Offer crisis intervention to clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies, ensuring that they feel supported and safe.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives, education programs, and workshops to raise awareness about mental health and reduce stigma in the community.

Our clientele encompasses a wide range of ages and backgrounds, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. We particularly focus on serving diverse and underrepresented groups within the Austin community, creating culturally sensitive treatment options and engagement strategies that honor each individual’s unique experiences and needs.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport and foster therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Cultural competence with experience working with diverse populations, ensuring respectful and supportive interactions.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to maintain accurate records and meet therapy documentation requirements efficiently.

• Prior experience delivering therapy in community mental health settings, particularly to underserved populations.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices for delivering remote counseling sessions.
• Experience conducting outreach and engagement efforts in community settings.
