The Associate Director, Edge Security & Traffic Management is responsible for leading the design, build, and operation of enterprise traffic management platforms that enable secure connectivity, high availability, and modern application delivery across corporate and subsidiary environments.
This role oversees External Global Traffic Management (Akamai), Internal GTM (Citrix NetScaler and F5), and Local Traffic Management solutions across on-premises and cloud platforms (Azure Application Gateway, GCP ILB/ELB), as well as Edge Security tooling including Akamai AAP and F5 Shape Botnet protection.
The Associate Director provides both strategic and operational leadership to ensure these platforms operate reliably at scale while advancing modernization, standardization, and the maturity of a hybrid Agile delivery model. This role is accountable for delivering consistent solution designs, improving user experience, and curating supported enterprise architectural patterns to reduce operational friction and team churn.

The Associate Director, Edge Security & Traffic Management leads a multi-disciplinary engineering and operations organization responsible for enterprise-scale traffic management capabilities. The Associate Director oversees a skilled team with a focus on enterprise-class maturity, including clear separation of engineering and operations responsibilities to optimize delivery cycles. This includes enhancing an established SAFe Agile model to ensure sustained delivery while mitigating burnout. The role also curates a standardized set of approved templates and patterns for traffic management, ensuring a secure-by-design, scalable, and repeatable solutioning approach.
