What You'll Do

We are seeking a highly motivated and high-performing individual to join our Attruby Sales leadership team as a Field Development Director (FDD). This role offers a unique professional development opportunity and exposure for individuals eager to expand their leadership experience, enhance strategic thinking, and make a broader impact across the organization. As an integral member of the field leadership team, the FDD will serve as a key liaison between sales leadership and the field, driving operational excellence, fostering collaboration, and supporting the ongoing growth and development of our Attruby Sales team nationwide. This role reports the SVP Sales and sits on the Attruby Sales Leadership team (SLT).

Responsibilities
  • Analytics and Operational Leadership
    • Serve as liaison between Sales Operations and Ana Merz, SVP of Sales for national initiatives, including preparing monthly State of the Nation presentations for the leadership team and regional partners. Collaborate with Sales Operations to track area and regional performance, contests, opportunities for growth, and key business trends to identify actionable insights
  • Field Leadership Support
    • Partner closely with Regional Sales Directors (RSDs) and Territory Sales Specialists (TSSs) through regular field rides-approximately two days per week-to share best practices, strategize on opportunities, and strengthen execution in the field
  • Management Development
    • Work under the mentorship of the Area Sales Director (ASD), gaining hands-on leadership experience through participation in RSD preparation, interview processes, and providing coverage for ASD or RSD during leaves or vacancies
  • Geographic Support and Optimization
    • Provide coverage in key geographies as needed, including underperforming or open territories, to ensure consistent field support and business continuity
  • Cross-Regional Collaboration
    • Collaborate with other RSDs across the country through weekly team meetings to share best practices, successful word tracks, and new initiatives-enhancing visibility, alignment, and real-time learning across all regions
  • Culture and People Development
    • Support national cultural initiatives and contribute to the professional growth and engagement of TSS team members across the organization
  • Strategic Projects
    • Lead or contribute to special projects assigned by senior leadership, including initiatives that analyze market trends, inform strategic direction, or enhance field effectiveness
  • Systems and Training Contributions
    • Participate in building and improving field systems, training programs, National Sales Meetings, and tools such as Veeva and Power BI to drive efficiency and learning
  • Cross-Functional Exposure
    • Engage regularly with marketing, reimbursement, operations, and other key functions to develop a deeper understanding of the matrix organization and HQ processes, strengthening readiness for future leadership roles
Where You'll Work

This is a field-based position.

Who You Are
  • 10+ years of successful experience in the pharmaceutical industry and 5+ years in Rare Disease/Cardiology/Specialty/ATTR
  • BS/BA Required, MBA Preferred but not required
  • Product/indication launch experience: Track record of successfully launching new products and/or new indications into highly competitive markets
  • Strong leadership, planning and organization, analytics, business acumen, decision making and problem- solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and execute on plan
  • Proven leadership skills with a history of holding oneself to a high level of accountability
  • Ability to influence without authority, internally as well as externally
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent skills in using remote technology to engage with customers
  • Adherence to BridgeBio's high ethical standards
  • Significant travel is required
