Life Vista Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. In this critical role, you will provide thoughtful, individualized mental health counseling to a diverse population of stable, low-acuity adults, helping them to navigate their mental health journey with skill and compassion. This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, along with an attractive sign-on bonus to welcome you aboard.

This role offers a fully remote work setting, allowing you to provide counseling services from the comfort of your own home or any location of your choice. As a full-time mental health counselor, you will have the flexibility to set your hours beyond a minimum requirement of 30 hours week. You will work with an easy-to-use counseling platform designed to enhance your interaction with clients while streamlining the documentation process.

• Conduct therapy sessions via secure video chat, delivering compassionate and ethical counseling to clients.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to determine client needs and develop personalized treatment plans that align with therapeutic goals.
• Help clients cultivate coping strategies, improve communication skills, and develop effective problem-solving techniques.
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with best practices in mental health counseling.
• Maintain accurate client records while ensuring minimal paperwork through our streamlined systems.
• Participate in regular team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of client care.

Your clientele will largely consist of adults experiencing low-acuity mental health challenges. These may include mild anxiety, stress management issues, and transitional life challenges. You will play a vital role in supporting individuals as they develop resilience and an improved quality of life.

• Masters degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid, unencumbered state license, such as LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD.
• Ability to provide therapy independently without supervision and without any disciplinary actions on your professional record.
• Strong technological proficiency and excellent interpersonal skills to engage clients effectively.
• Access to a stable internet connection for video conferencing purposes.

• Experience working in a community health setting or similar environment.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic methods and approaches.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload and provide empathetic support.
• Prior experience in telehealth or remote therapy services is a plus.
