Work Environment

This role is designed for professionals who can work remotely, which is ideal for those who value flexibility in their work environment. Even though the position is remote, you will remain an integral part of our outpatient office team, collaborating with colleagues and participating in regular virtual meetings. Key Responsibilities

As the Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will have a range of responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:

  • Delivering clinical services through the creation of individualized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to each clientโ€™s recovery journey.
  • Conducting thorough assessments to continuously evaluate client treatment needs and progress.
  • Collaborating with clients to develop essential coping strategies, problem-solving techniques, and improved communication skills.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • A current, unrestricted state license to practice in the state of Georgia. Acceptable licensure includes:
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
    • Licensed Psychologist (PsyD)
  • The ability to work independently without supervision and a clean disciplinary record regarding the license.
  • Demonstrated experience providing direct clinical services with patients.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic nature that fosters trust with clients.
  • Familiarity with technology, including online therapy platforms, and a reliable Wi-Fi connection.
Preferred Experience

Ideally, the candidate will also have experience in:
