Kentucky LPCC Telehealth Counselor - Remote Mental Health Therapy Position

Job Summary

This remote counseling role gives a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor the opportunity to provide steady, client-centered therapy from a private home office. You will work with adults seeking support for emotional health, daily stressors, mood concerns, family or relationship issues, and personal growth.

Day to day, you will conduct virtual sessions, document care, build treatment plans, and help clients make practical progress toward their goals. The work is clinical, structured, and focused on providing accessible mental health support to clients throughout Kentucky.

Location: Kentucky
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000-$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients through scheduled video therapy sessions
  • Conduct initial clinical evaluations and identify treatment needs
  • Develop individualized care plans with clear therapeutic goals
  • Provide ongoing counseling using appropriate evidence-based methods
  • Help clients build coping strategies for anxiety, depression, grief, adjustment issues, relationship stress, and related concerns
  • Keep session notes, assessments, and treatment updates current in the EHR

Requirements

  • Active Kentucky Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor LPCC license in good standing
  • Previous experience providing therapy in an outpatient, private practice, community mental health, or telehealth setting
  • Strong understanding of clinical assessment, treatment planning, and progress documentation
  • Comfortable using telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and secure digital communication tools
  • Ability to work independently while meeting clinical and documentation expectations
