As a part of our progressive telehealth framework, our Registered Dietitian will work in a fully remote setting, utilizing digital platforms to engage with patients and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. • Conduct thorough and individualized nutrition assessments for patients, tailoring care plans that consider their medical history, lifestyle, and personal health objectives.
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based dietary counseling, educating patients and their families about nutrition strategies that facilitate effective diabetes management and overall health improvement.
• Monitor patients' progress by utilizing advanced telehealth tools to track dietary habits, biometrics, and therapeutic outcomes while making timely adjustments to individualized care strategies.
• Interpret biochemical data and perform nutrition-focused physical assessments to ascertain nutritional deficiencies and develop targeted interventions.
• Participate in and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating closely with endocrinologists, certified diabetes educators, and other healthcare professionals to formulate integrated treatment plans.
• Document all patient interactions and progress in secure electronic health records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and organizational protocols.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in nutrition, integrating new findings into patient care approaches.

In this role, you will primarily focus on providing nutritional services to patients with diabetes and related metabolic conditions. Our patient population includes individuals at various stages of diabetes management, from newly diagnosed to those needing advanced therapeutic support. By addressing unique dietary needs and preferences, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our patients' quality of life and health outcomes.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Current Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Active licensure as a Dietitian/Nutritionist in Washington state or eligibility for licensure.
• Comprehensive knowledge of nutrition science, dietary guidelines, and medical nutrition therapy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient interaction.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to various patient needs and challenges.

• Previous experience in a telehealth environment or outpatient specialty clinic.
• Demonstrated expertise in diabetes education and management strategies.
• Prior experience utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
