Job description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. Earn up to $30.00 per hour depending on experience and six (6) pay checks a month when bonus is included. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and vehicles. You will work closely with our team of mechanics to ensure that all vehicles are running efficiently and safely. Your expertise in diesel engines will be crucial in ensuring that our fleet is always in top condition. This is a full-time, first-shift position with a bi-weekly bonus, competitive compensation and benefits packages.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a diesel technician training program
  • At least 2 years of experience as a diesel technician
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with computer diagnostic tools
  • Experience with heavy-duty diesel engines

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines and vehicles
  • Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and vehicles
  • Collaborate with other mechanics to ensure efficient and safe operation of our fleet

Additionally, your knowledge of the latest diesel engine technology and repair techniques will ensure that our fleet is always running efficiently and safely. Finally, your experience with computer diagnostic tools and heavy-duty diesel engines will be beneficial in this role.
