In this remote outpatient role, you will collaborate closely with a passionate team of mental health professionals who share a commitment to providing meaningful support. • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client, focusing on pre-crisis and crisis situations.
• Document all client interactions and treatment plans in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal protocols.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to evaluate clients as directed by the clinical team, ensuring accurate assessments lead to effective interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement positive behavior support plans that align with best practices in mental health treatment.
• Participate actively in ongoing licensing and accreditation processes to maintain high standards of practice within the organization.

Your primary focus will be assisting a diverse clientele, including individuals facing mental health issues, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and acquired brain injuries. You will work to empower these clients, helping them develop coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and enhance their overall quality of life. Your approach will be grounded in empathy and active listening, allowing you to build trusting relationships that facilitate positive outcomes.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Completion of a full-time clinical internship in a mental health context is mandatory.
• Eligible for licensure in the State of New York.
• A valid driver's license in good standing is preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to establish rapport quickly with clients.
• A strong capacity for empathy combined with the ability to provide constructive guidance.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills for maintaining documentation and managing client cases effectively.

• Previous experience in outpatient mental health settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices related to mental health treatment.
