Cure Health Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist, specializing in child and adolescent mental health, to join our remote team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide critical therapeutic support to young patients and their families from the comfort of your own home. Our therapists play a vital role in improving the mental health outcomes of children and adolescents, utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches and a comprehensive understanding of developmental psychology.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility and the ability to balance your professional responsibilities with personal commitments. Our work setting leverages cutting-edge telehealth technology to facilitate seamless communication with patients and their families, ensuring that excellent care is delivered effectively. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility for evening shifts based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological, emotional, and developmental needs of children and adolescents.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans, integrating feedback from patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and other modalities, to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.
  • Facilitate family therapy sessions, offering support and strategies to caregivers and parents to foster a nurturing home environment.
  • Collaborate with child psychiatrists, educational professionals, and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to mental health care tailored to each patient's unique situation.
  • Engage in crisis intervention strategies during acute mental health emergencies, providing immediate support to children and their families.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment pathways, and resources available within the community.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, adhering to strict legal and ethical standards of confidentiality throughout all interactions.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, case discussions, and professional development workshops to enhance skills and stay updated on best practices.
  • Continuously engage with current research and advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry to ensure the highest standard of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on serving children and adolescents, addressing a spectrum of mental health challenges ranging from anxiety and depression to ADHD and behavioral disorders. Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
