FACS Cache Developer – Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management

The Cache Developer designs, develops, implements, enhances, and supports the Finvi FACS platform using InterSystems Caché technologies. The role develops custom functionality, API interfaces, automation solutions, and application enhancements that improve operational efficiency and support business objectives. Working closely with Operations, Business Analysts, Infrastructure, and IT teams, the Cache Developer ensures reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions while following TSI development standards, change management practices, and the software development lifecycle.


Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain InterSystems Caché ObjectScript applications supporting the Finvi FACS platform.
  • Develop and maintain Caché macro routines, Caché Server Pages (CSP), and Caché Classes.
  • Develop API interfaces and web-based functionality using CSP and related web technologies.
  • Develop PowerShell scripts to automate operational processes using ActiveBatch.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues by reviewing and debugging FACS code.
  • Develop and maintain FACS Tactics, Logic Blocks, Enable formats, Letters, System Options, Client Options, and Night Jobs.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and adherence to development standards.
  • Perform unit testing, support user acceptance testing, and validate production deployments.
  • Manage code promotion through development, test, and production environments using established change management procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for enhancements and system changes.
  • Provide production support and collaborate with business and IT teams to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
  • Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge with team members.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three (3) or more years of application development experience.
