Job Summary

THIS ROLE IS FULLY REMOTE ANYWHERE IN THE USA.

This role is for someone with prior Project Management experience supporting desktop users (Hardware Replacement, Windows Upgrades, PC Refresh, WIN7 / WIN10, etc.) and providing support in the datacenter.

Qualifications:

  • Key skills: Windows 7/10, Office 2013/O365, mobile device management.

  • Hardware would range from desktops/laptops/workstations/ thin clients.

  • Knowledge of ticketing platforms is key and knowledge of ITIL fundamentals is a plus.

  • Prior experience Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting WIN7/10 desktops & laptops.

  • Prior experience supporting a client’s datacenter operations.

· In depth understanding of project management terminology and methodology

  • Knowledge and experience in ServiceNow are a big plus.

  • Ability to do project planning, budget estimation and management, resource planning and assessment, financial planning, and reporting.

  • Excellent Customer Service skills

  • Can manage small project teams

  • Ability to build rapport with clients

  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

  • Positive and professional demeanor

  • Has 3-5 years of experience


Responsibilities:

  • Work with and under the direction of the Project Manager to ensure adherence with program goals and SLA attainments

  • Liaise with business financial leads and users to help in tracking Charge back to Project cost center.

  • Will coordinate with selected vendors to ensure smooth delivery of services to all end users and datacenter stakeholders.

  • This individual will be responsible for planning and coordination of all end user services and desktop support required by end users.

  • Active contract tracking and management.

  • Presenting / Reporting results in various forums

  • Liaise with vendors to generate POs / Initiate SOW reviews and signoffs

  • Help generate agenda and schedule business meetings (X-line sponsor/Application governance board)

  • Assist the team in change management activities (where applicable)

  • Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software

  • Recommend hardware and software improvements

  • Track customer issues and resolutions
